Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, by the grace of God, is the founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (Worldwide), and The Battle Cry Christian Ministries, (Worldwide).
Dr. Olukoya holds a first class honours degree in Microbiology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. As a researcher, he has over 70 scientific publications to his credit.
Anointed by God, Dr. Olukoya is a prophet, evangelist, teacher and preacher of the word. His life and that of his wife, Shade, and their son, Elijah Toluwani, are living proofs that all power belongs to God. He has over 70 Christian publications.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF MOUNTAIN OF FIRE AND MIRACLES MINISTRIES
The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries was founded in 1989. The first meeting took place at the home of the General Overseer Dr. D. K Olukoya with 24 persons in attendance. The church later moved to N0 60, Old Yaba Road, Lagos and then to present Headquarters site on 24th April, 1994. MFM headquarters is among the largest single Christian congregation in Africa with attendance of over [200,000] in single meetings. MFM VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT
The following are the goal and aims of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries as divinely given to the General Overseer: •To propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ all over the world. •To promote the revival of apostolic signs, wonders and miracles. •To bring together children of God who are lost in dead churches •To train believers in the art and science of spiritual warfare; thus making them an aggressive and victorious army for the Lord. •To train believers to receive Holy Ghost baptism and fire as well as a daily walk and relationship with the Holy Spirit. •To turn the joy of our enemies to sorrow. That is why we would always have a deliverance ministry wherever we are. If you do not believe in deliverance, you are not supposed to be in MFM. •To build an aggressive end-time army for the Lord. MFM is an end-time church where we build an aggressive end-time army for the Lord. WHAT IS AN END TIME CHURCH? An end-time church is a church where a sinner enters with two options. He either repents or does not come back, contrary to the present day churches where sinners are comfortable and find things so easy and convenient.
•To deliver those who have become slave to Pastors, Prophets and Apostles. •To build up heavenly-bound and aggressive Christians. The priority in MFM is for people to make heaven. It is not a worldly church.
•To build up prayer eagles.•To purify the Pentecostal dirtiness of this age.
The scriptures are the inspired words of God, the only basis of our faith and fellowship.
•The One True God, ETERNAL EXISTENT in three persons. God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. •The fall and deprivation of mankind necessitating redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ
•The salvation of mankind is through the Redeeming work of Jesus Christ and the Regenerative work of the Holy Spirit, Sanctification is seen as an act of separation from that which is evil. •The Baptism of the Holy Spirit-Acts 2:4, 10:44 and 19: 1-6. •We believe in Restitution for past wrongs where possible. •The Ordinance of the church e.g. the Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism. •The church universal both visible and invisible. •The ministry divinely called and scripturally ordained as that approved of Almighty God.
•Divine healing as provided by the Lord Jesus Christ.•The rapture ushering all believers into the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the second advent of Jesus Christ when He will physically appeared on Earth.
•The Millennial Reign of Christ. •The Fire judgment •The new Heaven and Earth.

The Ministry, The Impact, How he uses MFM as a vehicle for Deliverance. Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide is a unique man by any criteria who hit the path of greatness through the combination of divine favor of God and a dint of hard work. From a humble background, this son of a retired police officer has become a role model, a God’s general, a phenomenon and vehicle of deliverance for this generation and incoming ones across the world.
He has a first class degree in Microbiology from the prestigious university of Lagos and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom a university ranked among the best on this planet. Dr. Olukoya following a vision form God founded MFM in 1989 with 24 members in his sitting room at Yaba, Lagos. The church later moved to Old Yaba Road before settling at the present Headquarters site on 24th April, 1994, with a retinue of teeming worshippers. Today, MFM’s most famous landmark apart from its headquarters is the Prayer City, a vast acreage located on Kilometer 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
It hosts the monthly Power Must Change Hands, which attracts over 1.2million worshipers in the first Saturday of every month, this program has delivered many people from bondages. It is significant to note that the July 2007 Power Must Change Hands Program tagged 7-7-7 had millions of people in attendance and was generally regarded as the largest single gathering of Christian faithfuls anywhere in the world within the last five years. A similar scenario played out in Abuja and London recently during the Anointing Service conducted by Dr. Olukoya. The MFM Prayer City is fast becoming a model city as it has within it not only the church auditorium but banks, educational institutions and residential quarters. MFM has experienced significant demographic spread across the Universe. It spreads like wild-fire all over Africa, Europe, America, Asia etc. Not withstanding the growth of the Ministry, one unique feature that has endeared millions of people to the church is the powerful prayers, core deliverance, holiness messages and spiritual warfare programs together with the perfect humility of the General Overseer. As a way of meeting its social responsibilities to the society, MFM has decided to invest in education with the establishment of the Mountain Top Nursery/Primary School recently ranked the best in Lagos State. There is also Mountain Top College, which is a citadel of excellence, while the Mountain Top University is about to hit the starting mark. The Mountain Bible College, Institute of Spiritual Warfare [INSWAR] among others has since commenced lectures. Moreover, in the kitty of MFM’s expanding conglomerates is the tracts and publications group that publishes the “Fire in the World” weekly spiritual bulletin. Dr. Olukoya has unleashed his scientific dexterity with over 80 scientific publications to his credit and he pioneered the establishment of an indigenous laboratory of molecular biology and biotechnology currently reputed to the best in Nigeria it is called Danifol Bio Tech.
He established the Battle Cry Ministries for the publication of most of his spiritual books and there are over 170 spiritual books written by him, most of them best sellers. The Prayer Rain, a prayer manual described as “the best spiritual book ever written in modern times and widely used by Christians and non-Christians worldwide. The 674 page book is selling in millions.”

The concept of Christian Pentecostalism derived its origin from the Biblical Day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost Fire descended on the Apostles and they were speaking in the different languages of the then known world. In Nigeria and abroad, the term: Pentecostal Fire Ministry attached to the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries [MFM] is pervasive. There are phrases such as “by Fire by Force” “receive Fire” “he has fire” commonly in usage among the millions of MFM members globally. The reason for these phrases can be found in the founder and General Overseer of the Ministry: Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya who is universally acclaimed as “the fire brand Pastor” he is a phenomenon, an institution, an enigma and a highly adored 21st century Christian preacher. The MFM is today among the fastest growing Christian organization on Earth. In commemoration of the historic 20th Anniversary, The Voice Contributor: Joseph Olatunbosun got a One-on-One interview with the Regional Overseer; MFM South West 3 Regional Headquarters, Ilorin Pastor Gbenga Olu Stephens whose divine gift of turning things for better is legendary, excerpts of the Interview:
The Voice: Sir, kindly reveal a little bit about yourself
Pastor Gbenga: My name is Gbenga Olufemi Stephens. I was born in Lagos about thirty something years ago, almost all my years to date were spent in Lagos, I had my primary and secondary education there. I left Lagos through MFM ministerial assignments on 11th March 1998 about a year after becoming a full-time minister, my first point of assignment was Kano then to Funtua, Katsina, Yola, Sokoto where I was promoted as an Assistant Regional Overseer then to Maiduguri and presently in Ilorin.
The Voice: How would you describe the General Overseer Pastor Dr. D.K. Olukoya?
Pastor Gbenga: Hmm!!! What a wonderful man. One thing I admire of him is his unique humility, time consciousness, his kindness, caring and passionate nature, his extra-ordinary intelligence always amazes me. He is so many things to many people a very wise and understanding man of God. I cherish, love, and respect him 24 hours a day.
The Voice: Sir, how did you find yourself in the Vineyard of God?
Pastor Gbenga: I was a member of Prayer Rescue Team at Hope Eternal Life Gospel Church behind Mainland Hotel Ebute-metta, Lagos. I have never heard of Dr. Olukoya before until December 1993 when I attended a service in his church at Old Yaba Road, Lagos though I was already a Born Again Christian and an Officer in my former church but when I came into MFM everything looked strange to me, the prayers, the heart-touching messages, and the entire services. I went back to my church only to return after a month to MFM and by then they had moved to the present International Headquarters at Onike-Yaba. I took interest in the Ministry attending only Bible Studies before I finally became a full-fledge member in April 1994.
The Voice: Please Sir; can you describe your wife to us?
Pastor Gbenga: My wife is Sister Taiwo Esther Stephen. I met her in Kano,
The Voice: What are the Impacts of MFM-Ilorin Region?
Pastor Gbenga: By the grace of God, as it is for the MFM in general, MFM Ilorin is an agent of Revival among children of God and churches in Kwara State. Apart from the Spiritual responsibility the Region is discharging we have been blessings to students at all levels and our neighbors also. We provide free water services. ATM machine for cash withdrawals without stress, we are opening a Christian library within the church premises, we constantly maintain roads in our surroundings, and we have invigorated our scholarship schemes for all categories of indigent and qualified students.
The Voice: Many people criticize MFM for concentrating too much on the Enemy with the fall down and die doctrine saying that Jesus Christ admonishes all believers to pray for their enemies. Sir, are the critics right?
Pastor Gbenga: They are not right. The Bible says “my people perished for lack of knowledge”. In MFM, the term fall down and die is never against human-beings because we don’t see the physical men as enemies but the evil inner man the Bible emphatically affirmed that “the heart of man is evil and desperately wicked who can know it”. As a matter of fact we tell our members not to pray against human beings hence it will be witchcraft. It is common knowledge that behind every bad thing there is a force. It is that FORCE that MFM prays against. There are many places in the Bible especially in (Ephesians 6:10-18) where we see that the battle is not against flesh and blood. You can never hear any real MFM members saying: Mr. John Bull fall down and die. This is distinctly not the doctrine of MFM. Enemies are not usually physical being;
of Bank withdrawals most especially in students saturated community where our church is situated. The aim of the Christian Library is to create a place whereby the knowledge of God can be fully acquired. We will continue in our maintenance of cleanliness of the environment and the city at large; this is why in MFM Ilorin Region we don’t paste posters which deface the surroundings as many do, but we use handbills, banners and Radio plus T.V jingles.
To strengthen the scholarship package we are introducing various schemes at various levels for indigent average and brilliant students. Our Television Evangelism outreach tagged “Hour of Deliverance with Dr. D.K. Olukoya” on NTA-Ilorin makes our G.O. a weekly blessings where NTA Ilorin can be received.
Our future plans also involved the establishment and strengthening of MFM Corpers’ Fellowship to make the one year national service a remarkable and memorable one. We are pursuing Youth Empowerment Agenda involving academic and extra-curricular activities, sports, seminars, etc our Regional Football Team recently won the maiden Dr. D.K. Olukoya National Football Competition for MFM Regions all over Nigeria. We are giving hope to today and future generations.
TV: Sir, you are celebrating MFM at 20 globally how do you see MFM at 50?
Pastor Gbenga: It has being a long and fruitful journey so far to God be the glory. With the Almighty Jehovah on our side and looking at what He has done for the Ministry and through the Ministry these past (20years) there is no doubt that divine plans for us is great and the future of the Ministry is bright. There is no doubt, that a seed does not remain small if planted by the Lord. I see a greater tomorrow for this wonderfully great
All-sufficient God, then my mentors especially my General Overseer: Pastor Dr. D.K. Olukoya, my former Regional Overseer now Senior Regional Overseer: Pastor Philip Olanrewaju other wonderful people both within and outside MFM that I have come across by divine grace. I must never forget the woman of my youth, my darling wife: Mrs. Taiwo Esther Stephens plus the gloriously encouraging members of the different congregation I have ever been pastor to.
TV: Your message for MFM members worldwide and Christians generally plus Nigerians in general?
Pastor Gbenga: To all MFM members worldwide, they should know that with God all things are possible and that whatever the tribulations one passes through is a phase that will soon expire and to all Nigerians there is hope and God has a purpose for our nation, we would reach out promise land and by God’s grace Nigeria will be the greatest nation on Earth – we will surely laugh last.

Please a need healing, I have had this abnormal discharge for 20 years now, I have been to several doctors they have sent me to do different tests of which none came back positive. I have been treated with different types of anti-biotics of which none has helped.
I really want to be free from this thing, it is also affecting my marriage.
